Slurry TBM

The TBM’s cutting head excavates soil and crushes hard boulders and rock inclusions with cutting discs, the material is further milled in the stone crusher, mixed water supplied via feed pipes forming slurry. Centrifugal pumps transport the slurry to the separation plant on the surface. The tunnel boring machine is controlled remotely from a steering container.
